IHM London Region is pleased to announce that Professor Brian Edwards, Professor Richard Parish and Professor Derek Mowbray will respectively present views on the recommendations likely impact on health and social care managers; bring delegates up-to-date on actions which have been taken by IHM since publication of the recommendations and highlight how the IHM Management Code fits in.
Wednesday 19th June
This full day event will look in detail at how personal styles affect others in 'Better Teams, Better Care', surgical site infections, infection control, the European Standard and the cost of SSIs and how to prepare for the new EU Directive on sharps injury prevention. Delegates will also examine how a simple activity such as patient warming can reduce hypothermia incidents, resulting in cost savings and reduced risk of complications.
